Surfing America’s Prime Series Santa Cruz, CA
SANTA CRUZ goes off for the SURFING AMERICA’s PRIME Series.
TOP PERFORMERS: Santa Cruz local Nic Hdez’s dual-win (Boys U14 and U16) might have been most memorable, but all the finalists deserve applause. 10-year-old Meah Collins dazzled the crowd in her 2nd Place finish and earned an on-the-spot sponsorship from the Rip Curl team manager.
QUOTE “It was impressive to watch the U14 Boys and the U16 Girls tackle the conditions. Kei Kobayashi from San Clemente and Griffin Colapinto from Capo Beach each are barely over 70 lbs wet, yet they were going for broke on waves 3 times there size.” – Greg Cruse, Surfing America Prime Director
Next up: O’Neill Surfing America Prime presented by Got Milk? at Upper Trestles on February 21 & 22. Live webcast at http://www.websurflive.com/prime/live.php
