Victory: Believers
Alex BretonWe all decided to hit up Corona one more time, and hearing about some bigger tailwalkers being in the water. It was not the same scenario as last week, yet there were nicer grades of fish, and nothing went under 2.5lbs. I have been using Victory KoreDry Surf Shirts and Rash Guards for years. I use then for fishing in the Sierras or the South Pacific. Their stuff works and it works great. The Victory KoreDry Surf Shirts and Rash Guards keep you at a very comfortable temperature level, and they are also very durable. On this trip I got a 5 fish stringer totaling 21.5lbs. I ended up with a 7lber, 5lber, 3.5lber, 3.5lber, and a 2.5lber. Sorry about the half flash shot. I forgot that I unlocked my wader clips. By the way, it took me at least 10 minutes to bring in the 7lber. It also took off in the air at least 4 times. It almost tail slapped me, as it leap inches in front of my tube on its 3rd jump. Here are some more pictures |

Chris GrimmSurf trip to the Mentawai Islands off of Sumatra This is the only local I’ve seen surf in the Mentawai’s. He paddled out just before sunset & was a beginner – but with those waves he will be ripping soon. The VICTORY KoreDry rash guard & half bar of wax I gave him put a big smile on his face & many “Thank you” responses. The village near this break is a Christian village & many of the kids we gave candy to on a walkabout also spoke minimal english. The board might be communal as he stashed it in a tree when he left. Thanks Donnie and Victory for the rash guards & helping to spread the KoreDry love to this Sipura local surfer. |

CharnaeI really like the loose fit light blue shirt because it stays cool and doesn’t show through sweat at all so it doesn’t get that grungy look. I use it mostly for Stand Up Paddling although it also has worked well on hikes. The shirt was especially helpful in Thailand where it was really hot. It works very well for sun protection and it is important to me that my chest doesn’t get blasted by the sun. Usually I wear a hat when out on the water but looking forward to getting the new Sweeper Hoodie for paddling. |

Mickey Munoz,i really like the loose shirt for stand-up paddling and surfing when water and air temperature is fairly warm, its comfortable and keeps your body temperature regulated just right. when it cools down a bit i like the short sleeve jacket which has a light weight panel of neoprene that covers your chest and back, perfect for cutting the wind and enough insulation if you hit the water. The fabric on the sleeves and side panels on the jacket is the same that the loose shirt is made of, the fabric cuts the wind and does not absorb water so you don’t get refrigerated like you would in a cotton tee shirt or most rash guards. Thanks for making an excellent product.

Norm Vitale,I am native Californian surfer from San Clemente and traveling saltwater fisherman having the pleasure of surfing and fishing some of the most exotic locations in and around the Pacific Ocean. Logging in many days traveling along Baja California, the mainland coast of Mexico, the Islands of Hawaii and Tahiti, I discovered this beautiful country called Costa Rica. And now, I’m happy to say, have been living here along the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica for just over four years surfing and sport fishing. For years Victory wetsuits and rash guards have been part of my surfing attire. The ocean temperature here in Costa Rica averages about 80-85 degrees, and the sun can be very intense close to the equator. Obviously there is no need for a wetsuit, but a decent rash guard or something similar is a necessity to protect you from the elements. Two years ago Victory gave me a couple of Kordry Surf shirts to try out. I wear the short sleeve shirts religiously when surfing. The shirt protects me from the sun, keeps the wax off my hairy chest, and dries quickly. When sport fishing I normally wear a long sleeve t-shirt, but at the end of the day the cotton shirt would still be wet and salty from fishing. I noticed how the Victory Koredry loosefit shirts dried fast, keeps my body cool, and most of all fits great. So I started wearing the Victory White Lrg Mens LS Koredry shirt when taking my clients sport fishing. What’s excellent about the Koredry shirt…half way through the day I rinse the shirt with fresh water, it dries clean and ready to wear in minutes….thanks Victory! Pura Vida Norm Vitale |

Max BollingerI am Max Bollinger, the kneeboarder that just went to Indo. You and Donnie hooked me up with the Victory KoreDry rash guards and vooties. I gave a couple of the loose fit rashies to some of other guys on the trip, which they loved by the way. As for me, I wore a koredry loose fit hoodie quite a bit, very comfortable and did an awesome job of keeping the sun off my back and my bald head. I also wore the long sleeve adventure shirt with the zipper pocket on the back. both shirts really do their jobs and feel great at the same time, not bad looking either(the rashies not me) I’m a kneeboarder so I wear fins, the Vooties were awesome, inside my fins I didn’t even know they were there.I’ll be using them at home for fin socks. Thank you for hooking me up with such great products. Max Bollinger |

ButtonsThe Victory KoreDry shirts keep me and my students warm. I always recommend the KoreDry surfshirts and rashguards to my students because regular rashguards get cold when its windy and the trades usually blow on the north shore. The Koredry cuts the wind good so we stay warm. I suggest the long sleeve surfshirts or rashguards for the students to protect against rashes from the soft deck boards. I use the KoreDry surfshirts when Surfing, Stand Up Paddling and Tow in Surfing, that I am now doing with Garrett McNamara. Aloha, Buttons |

David OliveI truly believe in the Victory KoreDry products as I use the Kill the Chill jackets which are absolutely perfect. The titanium lining is the added bonus and works so well. I also have a titanium lined shorty spring suit that is nearly six years old and is completely intact including all seams. I commend Victory in their constant pursuit of quality and use of state of the art materials. I “Believe” in Victory as they’re always a winner in my surfing equipment. Aloha, David “O” |

Ian HaightThe new line of Kore Dry shirts are incredible. The sun protection in an out of the water has been proven. We recently had several hurricane swells in Hawaii and I surfed 9 days in a row never having to worry about getting sunburn or getting cold. I also love the loose fitting Kore Dry shirts to paint in the studio with!!! Thank you so much Victory for all the support ! Hope to see you guys this winter in Hawaii. Aloha and mahalo! Ian Haight |

Milby ShannonThe Victory KoreDry Hoodie literally saved my life. Having red hair and a pail complexion is always a challenge when out surfing. On my last surf trip to Nicaragua the KoreDry Hoodie kept me protected from the sun, and the hoodie also protected my scalp and ears. The KoreDry Surf Shirts are not only comfortable, but very functional in the water and as a sun protectant. |

Lindsay David,My name is Lindsay David, 26, and I have been surfing for just over a year. I moved to Dana Point from AZ and was introduced to the sport and taught by the most amazing people I know. Not only did they share their wisdom of rip tides, swell direction, winds, wave intervals and surfing techniques, they taught me about the best equipment. Victory KoreDry has been one piece of equipment that I will not go without. I have used Victory KoreDry through my surfing adventures and not only does it repel the water and keep me dry, it is COMFORTABLE TOO! When surfing, there is nothing more that you want to enjoy your time in the water than to be warm, dry and comfortable. With Victory KoreDry I have always been able to do that and I will continue to surf that way with Victory KoreDry. As I grow more apart of the ocean and the sport, my greatest Victory has been being in the water always surrounded by friends, here and gone, that without the love of surfing I would have never had the chance to meet. These people and the ocean are the most inspirational beings to me and I love them very very much. My most important teacher KC said it best, “You’ll never find a lifestyle as precious as the surfer’s life.” I will continue to live that life and have KoreDry by my side. That is MY Vestimonial. |

Guy LoftenDear Victory, My name is Guy Loften, thank you so much for the Victory koredry surf shirt, if I can get away without using anything I do, most rash guards seem to make me colder because it holds the water to my skin. The first time I used the KoreDry it was “amazingly’ warm and super comfortable, I saw the water repel and thought “why would that really matter”, then I wore my old rash guard one day, I felt cold and noticed I slipped more on my board. When I wore my KoreDry Surf Shirt I noticed how much better everything was, plus, the sun protection is ultra important these days. What an awesome product, please update me on any new products in the future; I am a Victory customer for LIFE! |

Scott SpeckelsFirst off, love your shirts! This is a testimonial from a beginner Kiteboarder but an old Catamaran (18′ Prindle) Sailor. Last week I was in the water just about every day Kiteboarding in Panama City Beach, Florida. I ended up wearing my new Victory Yellow XXL Mens LS Lycra shirt every day and it fit great and did the job of not getting sunburned and keeping me comfortable and dry. When out of the water it seemed to dry within minutes plus it kept its “fit” while in (and out of) the water. I just rinsed it out in the shower at night and put it on the next morning…all dry again. My girlfriend had bought a couple of new rashguards (O’Neil and one from Quicksilver) and after in the water too all day, and a 30 minute boat ride back to the car, she was still wet. She wouldn’t even let me turn on the A/C in the car because she “got chilled” from still wearing the “wet” rashgaurd. I was still perfectly dry and comfortable….. I believe in your shirts…their great. Want to see how the shorts are too. |

Carson Howard“I first tried a Victory Koredry surf shirt at a gear demo about six months ago in Texas. It was amazing and kept me comfortable in the wind whether in the water or out. Since then I have retired all my rash guards for Koredry surf shirts. Thanks Victory!” Carson Howard |

Cheryl MacGregorI believe we have been blessed with the waters. I believe we are blessed to be able to play on them. I believe Victory KoreDry rashguards and jackets keep me dry so I can stay in the waters as long as I can. They keep me warm and the women’s cap shoulders allow me to surf in comfort and without any restraint or bulkiness. On cooler days the long-sleeve keeps me dry and with the thumb hooks, easy to put on! The jackets are the best for the in between days, but they all work the same to keep you dry and allow you to enjoy the water longer. And the sweatshirts and tops look great out of the water and spread the word… I believe in Victory Surf Products! Aloha, |
